Heavenly Foods



A non-Iranian friend once wrote in an email to me: " it is all about food in your language, dear :) "
She was soooooooo right and she didn't even know half of it!

    I have seen a more extensive collection of recipes of Persian Foods in the past. If I can locate that, I will forward it to you as well.
    Which Persian Food do you make well and you receive the most compliments for?
    Mine is probably Ghormeh Sabzi.
    Those readers who have eaten food prepared by me are most welcome to share what their opinion is.

  3. My sister Nahzi ALWAYS prepares Ghormeh Sabzi for me when we're together - she knows it is my FAVORITE!!

  4. My friend Peter loved Persian food. The only problem was that he used to MIX everything on his plate! Mast o khiar (Yogurt with cucumber) mixed in with Baghali polo (rice with lima bean, salad with ghormeh sabzi, so on and so forth. His argument was, "well, they are all gonna mix in my stomach anyway"!!!!
    A heads-up to American readers:
    To disregard the proper way of eating Persian food is a disrespect to the chef. We Iranians take food sooooo seriously! :) :)
